REPORT UPDATE --- SOMEWHERE ON THE PLANET --- 10.11.09

First of all, I want to apologize for not writing since a few days after Hagerstown three months ago.  The last 90 days have been pretty hectic (but mostly exciting) for the entire Carr Family.

Since my last report, my wife, boys, nieces and dogs climbed in our motorhome and ventured to the Badlands, Mt. Rushmore, Bear Country USA, The Reptile Gardens, Sturgis Hot-Shoe, Rapid City Grand National, Sturgis Half-Mile, Broken Spoke Saloon and Campground, Prairie Dog State Park, Oberlin (KS) Half-Mile, Stockton (KS) Half-Miles, Rook County Fair, Holiday World (IN), Beulah Park Grand National and home for three days to drop off our nieces back in PA.  We took a breather and climbed back in the motorhome.  First stop, Indy State Fair, followed by the 1st Annual Nancy Barth Memorial fish fry in Peoria, Peoria (IL) TT, fishing at the Barth cabin, Moto GP in Indy, appearance at Southside Harley-Davidson of Indianapolis, Indy Mile, drove to St. Louis to board a plane to Bonneville Salt Flats, Five days in Bonneville, back to St. Louis, Springfield Short-Track, Springfield Mile, Springfield Short-Track (again after rain-out), "hauled ass home to PA" so the family could go to American Idol Concert, boys started school (a week late), .......took a breath.......week and a half later I flew to Peoria for an appearance at Brewer's Distributing, flew back out to Bonneville, went 320 mph, went 320 mph, went 313 mph, got blown off course at 341 mph, was stuck in high neutral, went 367.809 mph, backed it up at 366.956 mph, got drunk, was hungover, enjoyed a day alone with Pam, went to the Wendover airshow, home for 3 days, flew to Amsterdam, taught a school, flew to England, Sideburn Magazine Night, taught another school, had an appearance at Stratstone Harley-Davidson, and a race with the guys in the U.K.

I'm tired thinking back over it....but it sure was a trip!  I will do my best over the next month to detail some of the above stops, races, appearances or records....as best as I can recall a long the way.

I appreciate you stopping by ChrisCarr.com. Please stop by every now and then and keep an eye out for some NEW! Land Speed record t-shirts.  367.382 mph (pending ratification by the FIM) has a pretty nice ring to it......
