Chris Carr Wins His Second Straight Race.

After taking a somewhat controversial red-flag interrupted victory at Lima last week, Chris won the Indy Mile straight up in a bold draft move at the finish line, besting points rival Scott Parker and his good friend, the always-tough Will Davis. Chris conceded his heat to Parker, but when the money was on the line, he took victory and increased his points lead further, 132-106, over his Harley-mounted rival, Parker.

"Just wanted to put a few notes in here and let everybody know Indy went real well. As the results show, we won our second race in a row and feel like we're starting to really get on a roll in this year's championship run. We had a classic battle with Will Davis and Scott Parker at the Indy Mile and I was able to win the three-rider dogfight when it came down to crunch time at the end of the race. It's always nice to be able to record a win at a track where Scotty is known to be The Master and to win quite often. So we got our third career victory at Indianapolis and our thirty-ninth overall win for my career, and we're looking forward to adding to the list."

The team travels to Joliet, Illinois for the second-ever Grand National event on the half-mile at Route 66 Raceway this Saturday, July 10. We'll have more from Chris about that race next week.
