Another Disappointing Finish, Track Conditions Questionable.

"The track really sucked, to be honest with you. There's no excuse for it. I didn't think it was worth it to stick my neck out with the track the way it was,. I was still feeling the effects of the Hagerstown crash and I didn't feel like going beyond the limit at times to be able to run up front. I was uncomfortable on the race track, I was fighting off the effects from the week before. We got seventh, and we were pleased with seventh. The bike wasn't working all that great, and we finished it off the way we needed to. We did the best we could with what we had."

Just a few hours up the road is the glorious mile at Springfield, IL, where two races await, one of them the $100K Hall of Fame race, the other a Grand National points-paying event.
