Rain on Sunday postponed this Hot Shoe National until Wednesday, where better weather conditions prevailed.

In the 505 class, Chris chased Rich King throughout the entire main event but couldn't make the pass. After the race, King was found to be illegal and disqualified, forfeiting the win to Carr.

(505 main:) "Started off pretty good in the scratch heat, got a pretty good start, went to the front and we won our scratch heat pretty easily. In the regular heat race it was pretty much the same thing - good start, got out front and set sail pretty early.

"We were second fastest to, I believe, Mike Hacker in the heat races. In the main event, got off the line about third, got in behind Rich King, and I dogged Rich the whole race and couldn't really get by him. He was getting off the corners real good. I'd run him down going into the corners - and it was a one line affair - and he did a good job of blocking, and there was no way I could get by him without having to take him off the groove.

(750 main:)"I didn't get a great start. Murphree put a real good move on me going into turn three, got around me, and we really couldn't do anything with Bigelow out front."
