The race was a stop-and-go affair, with two red flags forcing two single file restarts that bunched the field. The final dash was just nine laps, and, just as with the previous two starts, young Henry Wiles put the hammer down and took off. Wiles won his second consecutive TT, and Chris fought first with Johnny Murphree, then with Jake Johnson, finally slipping to fourth at the finish.
The encouraging news was that Coolbeth finished in tenth place and Carr's lead has jumped up to twelve points. Five events remain on the schedule.
"We were competitive most of the day. In the main event, we were going good. I kind of lost my rhythm toward the end and gave up a few positions to Murphree and Johnson, and we finished fourth at the end."
