Saturday was blisteringly hot. The man with the plan: Tuner extraordinaire Kenny Tolbert. The Hall of Fame Podium. A happy kid gets an (empty) souvenir.

A pretty good start for the Grand National. Carr holds off Davis (21) and Dan Stanley in Turn One. In the lead and on the gas. Chris rinses out Rich King's leathers for him on the GNC podium.

Thanks.		 8-yr.-old Tanner Weston won Chris' helmet in a sealed bid auction with proceeds going to next year's HOF race. Chris is tired, but he's happy. Celebration of a $20K paycheck and another Springfield win.
